Types of Consultations

(Sorry - legal limitations in most states only allow Vet to Vet Consultations)

My mission is to help more clients have access to specialized care, specifically neurology! When we were growing up, my parents couldn’t afford to do an MRI on any of our pets, and I want to ensure that I am helping people like my parents care for neurological pets and supporting YOU in your clinic. I believe in team-based medicine, and together, we can provide that for your patients and clients. Are we limited without the use of MRI? Of course, but we are not powerless! Through a team-based approach, we can find ways to work within the limitations of finances, location, and equipment.

• Single questions that don’t take up too much time or cases that the owner can’t or doesn’t want to pay a formal consult for but you really need help with!

• There is no official report, just a friendly discussion. (Veterinarians only)

Asynchronous/Phone Consultation with Medical Record Review and Dr. Gibson's Written Report - $125 (recheck $95)

• In this option, I review veterinary and medical records/comments asynchronously, then text/phone/audio you after looking at them (if desired) followed by a written report. This is a great option when you don't have time to do a full video chat or want the case to be reviewed in the evening or prior to calling back. You can submit anytime and do NOT have to have a calendar appointment for this! Check out an example of my reports here! (Veterinarians Only)

• Evening/Weekends/Holidays or after-hours cost: $190 - Cell phone information in Stratocyte! Can also email thebraindogtor@gmail.com.

Live (Co-appointment) with Dr. Gibson - $190 ($125 recheck within 6 months, $95 if asynchronous)

• I understand that sometimes it is just easier to see the appointment together. I will join you virtually in this option, and we will do the exam and neuro exam together. I do not mind clients being in the room, but please explain the legal aspect of teleconsulting with them. You still maintain the VCPR, but we work together live, and I am there to support you in the moment! EMERGENCY ASAP and AFTER HOURS CONSULTATION - $190

If I can’t help within a couple of hours, I will do my best to put you into contact with one of my fellow neurologists who provide coverage for me!
